To scale up international sales and distribution operations, we are looking to hire a CCO (m/w/d) 100%.


Your role

To join us at our headquarters in Winterthur, Switzerland per January 2022 or as soon as possible. In this role, you will join our executive board and assume overall responsibility for all our commercialization efforts, including

  • designing and implementing our global sales strategy and ownership of top-line revenues and sales growth (B2B2C) at Scewo; 

  • managing, developing and growing our highly dedicated marketing & sales team (currently 8 individuals, expected to grow to 15+ over the next 12-18 months); 

  • building a scalable lead generation and sales engine and establishing reimbursement contracts with accident, invalidity and health insurance companies globally;

  • developing and managing our international distribution network, negotiating and overseeing agreements with key accounts and sales partners.


Are you an expert?

For this key vacancy, we are looking for a seasoned industry expert with at least 12 years of experience in senior management positions in marketing, sales and business development within the medical devices industry, ideally in the context of venture-backed high growth projects.

As a qualified candidate, you will have

  • demonstrated your ability to build, nurture and grow highly successful sales teams selling into regulated international markets;

  • assumed top-line responsibility of a product group or business unit for many years and achieved significant sales growth in multiple posts and within multiple companies;

  • demonstrated your ability to scope, develop and successfully implement reimbursement contracts with insurance companies;

  • successfully managed and grown an international distribution network selling products that require significant physical customer contact, ideally in a related field such as wheelchair / prosthetics / personal aids, or similar;

  • successfully launched and scaled new products and technologies from zero to 7+ figure annual sales revenues.

Finally: This job requires the willingness to frequent international travel and excellent command of the English language, both orally and in writing, whereas German and/or other languages at C1 level or higher would be a strong plus.
